So the winds have picked up to 30-40mph and recently I estimate a gust at about 50mph. Wind seems to be coming out of the north to northwest which hits the back of my house. I noticed some water at the bottom of my sliding glass door in the back, not bad though. No visible damage yet, although a neighbor reported a downed tree in her backyard.
I’ve seen on the television that areas along the Jersey shore, which is 20 minutes from me, have begun to flood significantly even though the storm is still 200 miles away. Tonight should be interesting!
