A totally unexpected find during my trip up to Bear Mountain State Park. I was meandering down near the Hudson River when I decided to take a walking path which seemed to look out over the river. Well not only did I get that but inadvertently found this on my exploration.
The elks Head Statue was presented to the town by Victor Berman, the former commissioner of the Palisades Interstate Parkway in 1935. It certainly has a presence in this beautiful part of New York.
