More HDR…..

Architecture, HDR

Flatiron BuildingThe Flatiron Building in NYC is probably one of the most photographed buildings in the world. It’s difficult to find a perspective that hasn’t been seen hundreds of times. That shouldn’t stop a photographer from shooting this magnificent structure by any means. What could separate your version of the flatiron building from another version would be in the processing.

I messed around with different versions of this shot and finally settled on my signature HDR style to bring out the best in the building. Tonemapping has accentuated  the finest details and textures that makes this structure different from a variety of others.

So what’s your style? I’d like to see a shot that defines your photographic style. Why not post a link to a shot that says it’s you in the comments section. Can’t wait to see it.

  1. Love the sky only a hint of a fringe – super subtle, the brickwork is the clincher for me though. I have big trouble with perspective like this in Lightroom though and usually cheat and go back to PSE10 which I seem to understand better. My Sooc shots all seem to lean over or away from me!
