Photographing the 59th St. Pier this summer was a bit of a disappointment as the weather didn’t quite contribute anything dramatic for 7 straight days. I did manage to get this shot as a last ditch effort to take home something worthy of this great subject. On this late morning the sun and clouds did finally present this ghostly appearance only brought out in B+W.
On another note, I’m pretty excited to see how this print turns out as I ordered it on a metal mount from Fine Art America. If Isaac doesn’t hold it up I should get it by Friday. Maybe I’ll take a picture of the picture and post it for you.
