What a better way to spend the first day of summer than a trip to the beach. This was made even better by the fact that it was 97 degrees at our house and within a 20 minute drive to the beach the temp. dropped 15 degrees. It was beautiful. The reason why my daughter looks so happy is that they decided to cancel the last day of school due to excessive heat, it’s supposed to be in the 100′s again today!

In many of the schools there’s no air…yes, great learning environment! One of the schools in our town is over 80 years old and is 2 stories high, no air….uuuugghh
